I feel like I say this over and over, but time just seems to be flying by. April? I had to look at the entries in my daily diary to be sure that the month happened. OK, with the Easter holiday and my birthday it made for a sort of an action-packed month. The shorter working weeks were greatly appreciated, particularly because things are a little idle at work. Having a public holiday removes some of the guilt associated with sitting around trying to find a way to be busy.
And, it was a fun month, so there is a little truth to the old saying. Nothing spectacular happened, but all the same it was rather enjoyable, with the exception of Arsenal football. That was complete crap.
Meanwhile, Eintracht have created a bit of a fervor. Somewhat unexpectedly, they have played their way into top 4 positioning in the league, and they are in the semi-final of the Europa pokal. The fans are really enjoying the experience and the team clearly appreciates the support.
Regardless of what happens to them this evening and next Thursday, they can be proud of their efforts.
Like the month of April, this post is going to be rather short.
Yesterday, I started the month of May with a trip to a friend's garden for a cookout. It was a good afternoon with friends and good food, and who I am to complain about yet another short working week?
See you out there
